Sometimes life takes twists and turns we never expected. When this happens, a new home can be much more than just a place to call your own. It can mean a new start. This is where Marcus Hofmann found himself.
Recently divorced, and unable to obtain a loan on his credit or even his bank account, Marcus ran the risk of having to rent a motel room long term or wind up homeless.
“…in the middle of a divorce a situation…you can’t even get a loan, no matter how good your credit or bank account…” Marcus would later write of his circumstances.
Having completely run out of options, Marcus contacted the Toril Sells Houses Team.
Toril’s team went the extra mile to help Marcus not only find a house, but a new home that would help him get a new start in life.
“They truly took a personal interest in me and my situation and saw it all the way through from start to finish,” he wrote in a Zillow review of his experiences with the Toril Sells Houses Team. “They even previewed homes for me while I was at work! How many agents will do that for you?”
Not only did the team helped Marcus find the home of his dreams, they even helped him negotiate a deal with the seller that allowed Marcus to lease the home before closing on the purchase so he could move in sooner.
As it turned out, this situation was ideal for both the buyer and seller; a true Win/Win! They closed on the home, so the seller was happy; and Marcus didn’t have to spend a penny on a motel room or spend the night on a park bench. Thanks to Toril Sells Houses Team’s negotiating skills, everyone came out on top!
And that hasn’t been the end of the Toril Sells Houses Team relationship with Marcus. The team has since helped Marcus’ son purchase a home of his own, starting his own path in life. Also, Marcus has since listed property with the team, none of which would have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the Toril Sells Houses Team.
Not only did Marcus give Toril Sells Houses Team a 5-star rating on Zillow, but also, wrote in part, “I know in my heart they worked as hard for me as they would have for themselves or any family member I’m truly blessed to have crossed paths with them.”
